BSEF Japan expands connections with stakeholders at automotive show

BSEF Japan’s booth at the recent Automotive World event (Tokyo Big Sight, 19-21 January 2022) attracted a large number of visitors in spite of the continuing impact of Covid-19. The number of visitors was 30% higher than that of the JPCA Show in October 2021.

Japan’s leading automotive show

Automotive World is known as the country’s leading automotive show, which is why it attracts many of Japan’s stakeholders in the automotive parts and cutting-edge technology industries. The majority of visitors to this year’s event were interested in new business opportunities that will arise as the market shifts to EVs and automated driving.

BSEF Japan used our booth as an opportunity to introduce our activities and to disseminate accurate information regarding the role that bromine and BFRs play in society. Through the cooperation of BSEF Japan member companies, we were able to interact with visitors to the booth and distribute various pamphlets; deepen the relationships among members during a time when Covid-19 has made face-to-face interactions difficult; and collect the names and contact details of 117 visitors, which will be used as part of a target list for future BSEF Japan activities, including seminars.
